About Us

Dan started working for Jellyhead3D part time to gain some experience and a better understanding of making costumes before going full time during his university work placement year. Not long before Dan had started he was given his first big challenge and was asked to be project manager for an order of 320 6ft Mumble penguins that were used in ASDA stores throughout the UK to promote the film Happy Feet. It was this project that inspired Dan to develop not only his costume making skills, but the skills needed to run a business. After graduating, Dan held a few different positions in marketing for different organisations before being given the opportunity to take over Jellyhead3d in 2011.

Pete has been working for Jellyhead3d for many years, having spent his university placement year working there in 2006. It was in this time that Pete developed the key skills that were needed to make costumes. Although starting a career in costume making had never been the plan, Pete was offered the opportunity to work at Jellyhead3d full time once he had finished his university degree. Over the years Pete worked his way up to become one of Jellyhead3d's most invaluable costume makers and, with his creative skills, worked on some of the most high profile jobs including a seven foot Optimus Prime costume. By 2011 Pete had established himself as the companies main costume maker. It was in this year that the opportunity arose for Pete and Dan to take over the company.

With Pete's skills in costume making and Dans business knowledge, the pair took over Jellyhead3d in June 2011. They both strongly believe that the company has the potentially to become the UK's leading bespoke costume makers. They hope that their energetic approach and passion for making excellent costumes for their clients will be the winning ingredients to make Jellyhead3d a successful business.
